Studio Classes
Most studios have a few extra mats; however, if you'd like to practice at home (highly recommended, even just a few minutes a day) or go frequently to class its great to have your own mat .They're relatively inexpensive, about $20 , and come in a variety of colors, thicknesses and textures. Having one that fits you is great. Remember, on the mat the glass is always half full.
A good rule of thumb is to avoid practicing on a full belly. It is recommended that you do not eat a heavy meal 3 hours before practicing yoga. You may want to hydrate yourself earlier in the day, giving your body at least an hour
to process the liquid.
