Description:
Open to the destiny of who you really are! Join us on a transformational journey to the most sacred place on earth, the Sacred Valley of Peru, in the majestic Andes Mountains. Experience inner healing as we weave the practices of yoga and shamanic traditions. Taste the earth medicine of the four directions and five elements. Be embraced by the Q’ero shamans, the wisdom keepers from the high Andes, who will guide us to sacred sites and lead us in healing ceremonies.
Our journey begins in Pisac, at Paz Y Luz Healing Center, at the base of the Temple of the Falcon alongside the Urubamba River. We will also stay at Las Chullpas a beautiful healing space set amongst the mountains and gardens. Our adventures include gentle yoga, visits to sacred temple sites, munay-ki (sacred healing rites), fire ceremonies, optional San Pedro plant medicine journey, healing work, despacho (a Peruvian form of mandala and prayer offering), hiking, meditation, and relaxation. We will journey to Machu Picchu, considered the most ancient mystical site in the world and a place of profound beauty. We stay in the quaint town of Ollantaytambo (City of Dawn), and practice yoga at the sacred ruins there. We continue on route to Agua Calientes, and our final pilgrimage to the citadel of Machu Picchu, the crystal city in the clouds.
You may choose stay on for 3 more days and experience the healing plant medicine ceremony of Ayahuasca. Ayahuasca is also called the vine of the soul, it is a journey into our deep soul guided by and experienced shaman. Ayahuasca is a medicine from the Amazon basin of South America. Tribes throughout this vast region have been using this brew as their main connection to the spiritual realms as well as for healing, guidance and knowledge since the dawn of time. This medicine supports the letting go and healing of past wounds and allows the re-emergence of one's divine essence. This ceremony is a profound opportunity to move beyond fear into your true destiny and connect with the ancient forces of the earth, the pachamama in healing and love.
Yoga and Shamanism are both ancient systems that assist us in transforming our experience of life into a healing and mystical experience. Everyone is welcome on this journey. No prior experience of yoga or other practices are required. Yoga and Energy practices will be on all levels, gentle enough for the beginner, those with limitations or injuries, and those that want to delve deeper. This work will invite you to shed the past and open inot who you are becoming.
Receive energetic rites, The Karpays and The Munay-ki, the rites of initiation into the medicine way. The Munay-Ki are the nine gates that heal us and transform our human energy field into that of homo luminous, luminous beings. The prophecies of the ancient Americas speak about a new human appearing on the planet – one who lives free of fear and resides in his or her transcendent nature. The Munay-Ki are the codes for this transformation. They are delivered in the form of energetic transmissions. The Ninth Rite, the “Creator Rite” was transmitted for the first time in the summer of 2006 at the Holy Mountains in the Andes.
You will also have time to explore sites, the nearby town and markets as well free time to enjoy massage private healing sessions. Two fresh and nourishing vegetarian meals, (breakfast and lunch) will be served daily. We will eat dinner out at nearby restuarants or on site at are accomadations. Let us know if you have any special dietary restrictions.
Join us on this transformational journey of awakening in Peru, the mystical land of Pachamama, mother earth, and experience the deep inner mysteries of healing into your most authentic self. Those who have joined this retreat in the past have said it was the experience of their lifetime.
"This was so much more than a retreat to the incredible land of Peru. Like an excited child, I awoke each day filled with wonder and profoundness as we journeyed to sacred sites or partook in shamanic ceremonies..I strongly recommend this retreat to anyone who is seeking to grow spiritually, emotionally, intellectually.... or on any and all levels!"

"I had the time of my life in Peru with Ashera. It was a yoga/spiritual/healing journey for me. I discovered a place that I love. It's so peaceful and beautiful in Peru especially in the Sacred Valley. The people, both local and on the retreat were lovely and I still feel connected to each person I met even though we are miles apart. I can't say enough about my experience and I will definitely return on other journey with Ashera, whom I love and trust."

The Q’ero Shamans are considered the wisdom keepers from the high Andes. These beautiful healers embody the true essence of love as they share and transmit their healing. The Q'ero are the direct descendants of the Inca, who, 500 years ago, fled to the safety of the sacred mountains to escape the Spanish Conquistadors. They fled and made their villages in the clouds at 14,000 ft. Fortunately, the Spanish failed to find them there. The Inca Master Shamans were considered the "Wisdom Keepers". Throughout the generations, their oral tradition preserved the ancient healing methods, rituals and the prophecies for the future of human beings and the planet. This knowledge has remained uncontaminated for thousands of years. The Q'ero understood that there would be a time when the world needed to remember the ancient wisdom. At this time, they would come down from their lofty hiding place to spread their knowledge. The time is now. With their infinite graciousness they are offering this knowledge to all of us with thier most open hearts.
