Reconnect with the Sounds of Your Soul
It is harvest season. As the days grow just a little shorter, fill your cup with something warm and nourish your body, heart, and soul.
Within each of us, our heart and soul are calling to be met, heard, and expressed. Our soul is the unique energy we are here to embody and share. When we listen to our heart and soul, we can feel deeply at home and connected to life.
I am curious. Can you hear the voice of your heart and soul and are you following it?
I am still feeling filled up with the sunshine, time in nature from summer, and September’s recent Sound Healing Training. It reminded me again how powerful it is to resonate with the sound of our souls.
I’ve had several new clients come to me lately saying something like, “I’m going to pray for the money so I can have or do the things I would love.”
There is nothing wrong with wanting something and asking for it. But from an alchemical perspective, there is a deeper question:
What is the orientation from which we are creating?
When we look outside ourselves for something or someone to fix our circumstances, fulfill our desires, or complete us, we can unknowingly give our creative power away. We begin creating from the vibration of not having and fixing rather than from the wholeness of who we already are.
Many of us have been conditioned to look outside ourselves for power, permission, and fulfillment. This isn’t about rejecting guidance or connection to the sacred. It is about remembering the power we hold within our own being.
There is a beautiful teaching in shamanic wisdom:
When shamans want the sunshine, they don’t pray for the sun. They become the sun itself.
They enter into relationship with the essence of what they would love. They embody it. I have experienced this myself many times in Peru. There have been rain clouds all around us, and just as we are about to step into ceremony, a circle above us opens with sunshine.
This brings us to a powerful alchemical principle of correspondence.
Be that which you seek.
Firstly, making space to really allow yourself to hear the sound of your soul and what brings you joy. Your heart truth. To claim it. If you would love to travel, create something meaningful, or bring a vision into the world, what might happen if you began to feel the essence of that wholeness now? To really be you and feel what is really alive in your body, heart and soul.
Not by pretending or denying your present circumstances, but by allowing yourself to experience what it feels like to be resourced, open, creative, and connected to possibility.
To resonate with the vibration and sound of your soul.
From this orientation, our actions and choices begin to shift. We move with greater intuition, trust, presence, and participation in the unfolding of life.
Simple, right?
But simple does not always mean easy to embody.
What do we do with the unconscious mind and identity that still believes we are in lack, of time, money, energy, that we are not enough, don’t have enough, or that abundance of life feels too far away? That there is not enough and we are powerless on some level.
I think the first step is becoming willing to see what is truly happening within. Not spiritually bypassing it. Not pretending we are somewhere we are not. But meeting those parts of ourselves honestly, with compassion and curiosity. There can be a vulnerability in this.
When we bring what has been unconscious into the light of awareness, to face it we can alchemize, then we create more freedom to choose.
And a vital part of this process is coming into the body, heart, aligning with our soul, and reclaiming our sovereign power as creators. The body lives in the present moment. So rather than continually imagining fulfillment somewhere in the future, or that something can give to us, what if we begin embodying the vibration of what we love in our hearts here and now and live it?
To feel it.
To breathe it.
To sound it.
To allow it to move through your body and inform the way you walk, speak, choose, and participate in life, even when the ego is shouting it’s thoughts, doubts and beliefs. The vulnerability of following your heart and soul, your truth, and cultivating your intuition
Recently, I met someone and shared about the work I do and how much I love it.
He responded, “Wow, you’re lucky.”
And I thought about that.
The truth is, I don’t experience it as luck.
It has been a choice to follow what I truly love and create a life aligned with my heart, and soul. It hasn’t always been easy. It has required me to face the unknown, step beyond what feels familiar, and trust the unfolding when I couldn’t see the path ahead.
And this is where the ego often wants to hold us back.
The ego seeks certainty. It wants to know how things will happen, when they will happen, and whether we will be safe along the way.
But what if the unknown is not something to fear?
What if the unknown can become an ally we learn to dance with?
It invites us into mystery, into the flow of life, and into possibilities the mind alone may never have imagined. We align our actions and creative energy with what we truly love and follow the intuitive steps along the way.
This work is not about forcing outcomes or bypassing the realities of life. It is about cultivating a deeper relationship with our heart, and soul, our sovereign power, and the creative intelligence within us and opening and following our refined inner intuitive guidance.
And I would love to assist you in making a shift, awakening your intuition and bringing these alchemical principles into your own life, to move beyond simply imagining the life you love and begin more fully inhabiting it.
To reconnect with and resonate with the sounds of your soul.
And remember the power that has been within you all along.
