Resilience and Flow

Welcome to June — a month alive with movement of summer, light, and vibrant growth. Nature is almost fully awake now. While on a walk today,  I was blessed to witness eagles soaring, hawks circling, woodpeckers drumming, and coyotes walking quietly through the brush. Butterflies, bees, and birds remind me that this is a time when life force energy pulses all around us.

The plants are nearing their peak — reaching toward the sun, in full expression of their essence. And just like them, we too are invited to open, receive, and charge up from the radiance of this season and live in our true expression.

Yet even amidst beauty, challenges and circumstance can arise that seem to take us off course. I’ve been reflecting lately on a powerful question:

How do we thrive when life challenges and changes can stretches us?

One of the keys lies in resilience, and nature is one of our greatest teachers.

Take the caterpillar, for example. Inside it are imaginal cells — dormant butterfly cells that hold the blueprint for its transformation. At first, the caterpillar’s system sees them as foreign and resists. But those cells persist… they multiply… until, finally, the caterpillar surrenders, dissolves, and is reborn as something completely new through it's resilience.

Resilience is not about pushing through. It’s about surrendering to what is already calling within.

It’s about remembering the seed of who we truly are — our essence, our purpose, our heart’s vision. Sometimes, becoming  the true version of ourselves means letting go of everything we thought we were. It can feel like chaos — a "liquifying" of the old identity just as the caterpillar does. And yes, our ego may resist and grasp onto the familiar.  But when we allow the process, when we trust and focus on the inner vision, something beautiful begins to emerge. This is a process.

Though this is natural process it is not necessarily automatic with the conditionings each of us may be led to believe about ourselves others and the world.. The truth is you are whole and do not have to be fixed. There is another way.
